A Safari Photo Update from Kruger National Park (1)

Winter is always a busy time on safari. It is after all one of the best times of the year to view the larger mammals in the South African bush.

Here are some of my favourite scenes from the last 3 months........

(click on the photos to see them in a larger size)

We watched this leopard for 45 minutes as she unsuccessfully stalked a small herd of impala antelope

Beautiful pics Sue! I think the sun behind the tree pic might have been taken with us?

Thanks for the compliments Ruth and Alex.

Yes Alex - the sun setting behind the tree was on your safari :) I assume you have a similar one - it was a beautiful sky.....

Glad to hear that you are coming back Gaelyn - just can't stay away can you :)

Hi Sue - gorgeous photos - particularly the first one - and actually the giraffe - looks quite 'buxom'!!

I'd love a break in Africa .. sometime .. great to see your shots - cheers Hilary

Ah, such beautiful scenes. I love the long road that reaches into the distant horizon. Of course, I love all the wild animals.

Hi Sue,
great pictures again. Birgit and me will be back in Africa in about 3 weeks and will have a 16 days safari in Namibia. Hopefully we will get nice pictures there in Etosha and Sossusvlei, too.
